The behaviour policy at Coleridge Primary School is central to our vision and ethos. It runs through the whole school and its teaching, providing opportunities for children to learn how to behave appropriately in a range of circumstances.
Drugs and alcohol can be a sensitive topic, but we aim to ensure that our children have the knowledge and skills to understand the risks of drugs and alcohol, and make informed decisions in later life.
The Pupil Premium provides additional funding on top of the main funding a school receives. It is targeted at students from disadvantaged backgrounds to ensure they benefit from the same opportunities as students from less deprived families.
Relationships and sexual matters can be a delicate subject, but we believe that children should understand their bodies and the behaviour of others, to allow them to make informed decisions in later life, and avoid harm.
