10 Mar Second Hand Bike Sale Next Friday
As part of our ongoing commitment to reduce our school’s environmental footprint, we will be hosting a second-hand bike event in the West playground. It will take place on Friday 18th March from 8-9:30am, when parents and carers will be able to pick up an affordable, serviced child or adult bike and/or clear out outgrown or unwanted bicycles and earn a little money.
If selling a bike, you will need to bring it from 8am along with ID. Your bike will then be checked, serviced and sold at a future event. You will receive payment following its sale.
If buying a bike, you can browse and buy from 8am. They will be sold on a first come, first served basis and you can pay with cash or card.
There will also be a second-hand scooter sale, with proceeds going towards Coleridge Families. These will not be serviced.
We’re lucky to have Dr. Bike at the event, who will provide a free repair service for bikes during the sale. Haringey will also be providing free bike security marking for the event’s duration.
The event is being run by Peddle My Wheels and funded by Haringey Council.
