Coleridge Primary School is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all our children is at the heart of everything we do as a school.

Safeguarding is a term that encompasses the measures and practices we have in place to protect children from the risk of harm, abuse, and neglect.

At Coleridge Primary School, we believe that safeguarding is not just the responsibility of a few designated individuals; it is the shared responsibility of everyone in the staff team, and in our wider school community. We encourage our children, parents, and staff to be active participants in this process, creating a culture of vigilance, where anyone can raise concerns about a child’s wellbeing and be confident that these will be taken seriously and acted upon swiftly.

Early Help

Early Help is focussed on offering the right support at the right time for children and their families, as soon as challenges arise.

Early Help in school can be accessed through our school Well Being Offer. Corinna Phillips and Kirstie Henry are our Well Being Leads. Please contact them for any further information.
