Last week, the activist Tyrek Morris came to talk to the children about his work campaigning for black rights. He spoke to the children about his life and his work to make society more equitable and inclusive.

He spoke to the children about standing up for what you believe in. He also talked about how he has organised protests, and been invited to talk on BBC and ITV and in The Guardian about the work he has done, and the changes he has helped make in society.

At Coleridge, we’re always keen to hear the stories of those who have stood up and helped make positive change in the world, and we hope they inspire our children to do the same. The struggle for black rights speaks to our core values of inclusivity, and of caring about the rights of others.
