Parent Hub

Parent Hub

Home > Parents > Parent Hub

Good communication between school and home is key to the smooth running of the school, as well as helping keep parents informed about what is happening in the classroom.

Our School App

Starting Autumn Term 2023, we will be using a new school communication app for parents and carers, Parent Hub. The app is designed to keep parents and carers more up to date with school life and connected to your children’s learning.

You can install Parent Hub from the app store for your device:

  • Parent Hub for iPhone
  • Parent Hub for Android

Once installed, setup is just a few steps to join our school, and verify yourself using your mobile number.

You will then be able to access information about the school, your child’s class and their learning. Teachers will also be able to communicate directly with you via the app. Coleridge Families (our PTA) will also be using the app to disseminate information about their events.

If you have not got a smart phone and do not wish to download the app, all school communication will default to your email address. However, we do recommend all parents install the app for the best experience.

Parent Hub Frequently Asked Questions

What is our school handle?

You will have been emailed this at the start of the year. If you cannot find it, please contact the school office (we can’t share it here for privacy reasons)

I’ve joined the school, but can’t see my child’s class?

Parent Hub connects you to your child’s class via your mobile phone number. Please make sure you have entered this correctly. If you’re still having trouble, it may be we have the wrong mobile phone number on file for you.

I have children at another school using Parent Hub already, can I use the same account?

Yes, you can connect more than one school using the Parent Hub app. Just choose ‘Join a school’ from the Parent Hub app menu.

How do I translate Parent Hub messages into my home language?

The Parent Hub app supports over 100 different languages, and you can translate all the messages we send you into your home language. Just click the translate button, which appears underneath each message.

More info on translate here – https://support.parenthub.co.uk/hc/en-us/ articles/6172951020689How-to-translate-messages-in-the-Parent-Hub-app

Can I report my child as absent through Parent Hub?

Yes, you can report your child’s absence, and the reason for absence, on Parent Hub. Select your child, and click on Absence.

Can I view my child’s attendance through Parent Hub?

Yes, you can view your child’s attendance through Parent Hub. Select your child and click on Attendance.

Do I need to start making payments through Parent Hub?

We currently have no plans to move our payments systems over to Parent Hub. Please continue to make your payments through SCOPay as before.

This may change at a later date, but if it does, we will be in touch well in advance.
