Coleridge Wraparound Provision
Coleridge Wraparound Provision is run in-house by Coleridge Primary School and forms a natural extension of the school day.
We offer Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Club, all delivered on our school site by a familiar, caring team who know our children and our community well.
Our wraparound provision provides a safe, welcoming space where children can relax, play and socialise before and after school. We place a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing, positive relationships and consistency, so children feel secure and supported throughout the extended school day.
Our Ethos and Approach
Wraparound at Coleridge reflects the same values, care and expectations that children experience during the school day. We create a calm, nurturing environment where children feel seen, listened to and valued.
Our approach is guided by Coleridge’s core values of Caring, Creative, Inclusive, Aspirational and Resilient. Children are encouraged to be themselves, to make choices about how they spend their time, and to enjoy a balance of relaxed free play and engaging activities. After a busy day at school, we recognise that children need space to unwind in ways that suit them.
The provision is led by our Wraparound Provision Manager, Leigh Ellwood, and delivered by a trained, vetted and dedicated team who work closely with the wider school staff. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, and children are supervised at all times within clear and consistent routines.
What we Offer
Breakfast Club provides a calm and welcoming start to the day, with a nutritious breakfast and time to settle before children are taken safely to their classrooms.
After School Club offers a relaxed end to the day, with access to indoor and outdoor play, creative activities, quiet spaces and a healthy snack.
Holiday Club will run on school premises during selected school holidays. Details will be shared separately.
Booking wraparound care
If you are an existing Coleridge parent and would like to book wraparound care, please email the wraparound team at wraparound@coleridgeprimary.net. We will be happy to talk through availability and next steps.
If you are a parent of a Reception child joining the school in September, you will be able to book wraparound care once you have accepted your school place and received your Arbor login details. Bookings are made directly through Arbor, where you can select your preferred days.
Further information
Full information about routines, bookings, payments, food, collection arrangements and policies is set out in our Wraparound Parent Information Pack which is sent to parents when they book a place in our provision.
Wraparound places are booked on a termly basis and paid for in advance on Arbor. Once booked, sessions are non-refundable for non-attendance, including illness. This allows the school to plan staffing and maintain safe adult to child ratios.
If you need to need to permanently reduce your child’s regular booked days during a term, you must give at least four weeks’ notice in writing. Charges will apply during the notice period.
If you would like to swap a regular day, please contact us at least 7 days in advance and any changes will be subject to availability. If approved, the new day becomes the regular booked day for the remainder of the term.
If you need to add an additional day in the current term, please contact the wraparound team to check availability. We will do our best to accommodate your request if a space is available.
If you have any questions or would like to talk through whether wraparound care is right for your child, please get in touch with us at wraparound@coleridgeprimary.net.
Coleridge Holiday Club
Our holidays clubs run as a multi activity camps. The programmes balance active play, creative activities and calmer sessions, allowing children to move between higher energy and quieter play across the day. This approach helps children stay engaged while supporting different interests, moods and energy levels.
Issey and the wraparound team lead the club day to day, with oversight from our Wraparound Provision Manager, Leigh, ensuring consistent leadership, high standards of care and strong safeguarding throughout.
Bookings are open on Arbor for the Easter holiday and May half term. We will open the summer holiday camp bookings at the end of June. Please note that our holiday clubs are only open to children enrolled at the school.
Tax free childcare and voucher payments are accepted – please add the days you want to your basket, and notify wraparound@coleridgeprimary.net that you have transferred the fees from your childcare voucher provider.
