Special Educational Needs & Disability

At Coleridge Primary School we encourage all our pupils to aim high and achieve each to the best of their ability.

As teachers, we work hard to support all the children in our school to be the best they can, including all children with special educational needs or disabilities. We aim to offer an inclusive learning environment accessible to children with many different learning needs.

We want all our children to enjoy school including those who can find learning more challenging and believe this can best be achieved when we work in close partnership with parents. With your support, we can identify and break down any possible barriers to learning. We celebrate children’s successes in all areas of our creative curriculum.

If for any reasons you have a complaint or concern about the SEND provision your child receives, please follow the steps outlined on our Raising Concerns page, starting with discussing the matter with your child’s class teacher. As with all concerns, we aim to resolve SEND concerns as quickly and effectively as possible.

Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) is Corinna Phillips, and she can be contacted via the school office by email to admin@coleridgeprimary.net, or by phone on 0208 340 3173.
