Year 5 recently took part in a full day workshop led by Tender UK.
Tender was set-up to help create a future where people feel confident, safe and respected in their relationships, and never have to experience domestic abuse or sexual violence. Their mission is to prevent abuse by empowering people to have healthy relationships, challenge harmful ones, and promote respect, compassion and equality.
The particular aims of our Year 5 workshop were: to explore what is healthy & unhealthy in relationships; to challenge attitudes and opinions which tolerate and conceal abusive behaviour and unhealthy relationships; to empower young people with the knowledge & confidence to speak out and seek support.
