Coleridge Sings Nina Simone

As part of our celebrations of Black History this year, the whole school gathered together in December to sing to each other. The children had been learning two songs by legendary singer, pianist and civil rights activist, Nina Simone. The infants performed I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel (To Be Free) and the juniors sang Feeling Good

It’s always a special moment seeing the hall full of over 800 children singing their hearts out, and this was no exception.
