Mr Choueke’s 10km Marathon Swim

3 November 2025

A message from our headteacher, Mr Choueke…

For those who are new to Coleridge, a couple of years ago I took on a 10km marathon swim in the 50m Olympic pool at the London Aquatics Centre to raise funds for wellbeing projects at the school. Thanks to your amazing support, we raised an incredible £7,000!

On November 8th, I’m diving in once again this time aiming to beat my previous time (though two years older but perhaps a little wiser?)

All money raised from this swim will go directly towards expanding our Wrap Around Care offer. At Coleridge, we’re on a mission to make sure every child and family who needs it can access fun, inspiring, and safe care before school, after school, and throughout the holidays.

Your support will help us:

  • Ensure Wrap Around Care is accessible to even more families in our community
  • Create vibrant, welcoming spaces for children to learn and play
  • support the development of engaging activities for our children

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our children and families. Every donation brings us closer to giving our children the care, opportunities, and experiences they deserve.
