Who are Coleridge Families?
We are the parent/carer and staff association for Coleridge Primary School. Coleridge Families are a registered charity, organising events and activities that raise funds to support our school and providing opportunities for our community to come together.
We are part of the ParentKind network and our constitution is available below.
How do I join?
Every parent or carer of a child at Coleridge and all staff are automatically members of Coleridge Families. This means we do not charge a fee or require sign-up! We hold six meetings per year (one each half term) and our November meeting is our Annual General Meeting.
Each meeting covers news, event and activity planning, discussion of requests and ideas and the minutes are available on this site. Your Class Rep will distribute information about opportunities to volunteer in between.
How can I get involved?
Coleridge Families is run by a Committee of parent volunteers, but anyone can get involved – we’d love to hear from you. Please check our ParentHub channel (instructions how to find this here), private Facebook group, or public Instagram account for information about upcoming events and activities, or email the Chair directly with any questions or ideas at ColeridgeFamilies@gmail.com.
Professional skills and personal hobbies can all be helpful in various capacities and we always need spare pairs of hands to help out. There are many tasks that can be done remotely too, so please get in touch and we can find something that works for you, your schedule and your interests!
