This week the children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 were given an inspiring violin performance assembly by former Coleridge pupil Zach Bacon Darwin. Zach plays with the National Youth Orchestra and is taking his A levels at the moment.
He demonstrated his impressive musical skills on electric violin, showed the children how a loop pedal can layer up lots of sounds, and also got them all involved in some fun music-making using their voices and body percussion.
