On February 6th after school, Coleridge’s Art department hosted a drawing workshop for primary art teachers from across Haringey. We shared some of our children’s sketchbooks and discussed our Art curriculum.
The main focus of the evening was an exploratory session where the teachers were guided through a range of expressive drawing techniques to create a collaborative piece of work. The idea for the workshop was one we’d previously used in our Year 4 classes, during their “Wild and Free” Art unit.
It was a joyful and creative workshop and wonderful to connect with Art departments across the borough.
