Beowulf in Minecraft by Class 5B

Class 5 have been learning about Myths and Legends this half term. We read the Danish legend, Beowulf, and then created settings from the story using Minecraft. Children worked together to build the Great Hall, Heorot, the Barn where Beowulf rests and King Beowulf’s village.

Once we did this, the children filmed themselves acting out the story within Minecraft and then editing their recordings into a film using iMovie. This is the finished product! We hope you enjoy.
