Children are eligible to start Nursery in the September that follows their third birthday. Children start school in the September following their fourth birthday.

School Admissions

Children start school in the September following their fourth birthday. Applications for school places must be made directly to your local authority.

If you are looking to join in a year group other than Reception, this is called an “In Year Admission”. Occasionally there are places available immediately, however, if there are not, you can still apply to be on the waiting list for a space in the year group you require. The school office are generally able to give you up-to-date information on any current spaces available. All in year admission applications for our school must be made directly to Haringey, even if you are not a Haringey resident.

Please visit Haringey School Admissions for full details and to apply online.

Or, for Islington residents, please visit Islington School Admissions to apply.

The deadline for applying for September 2021/22 admissions is Friday 15th January 2021.

Nursery Admissions

Our Nursery is open to children aged three and four, and children are eligible to start from the September after their third birthday.

As part of the government childcare provisions, we offer 15hrs free childcare per week to all parents of 3-4 year olds, and 30hrs to those who meet the eligibility criteria.

Our 15hr per week provision is mornings only (9am-noon). This can be extended to a full day (9am-3pm) for a cost of £25 per session.

Additionally, our Nursery also offers an extended day service until 6pm, which also includes an afternoon snack, for a cost of £20 per session.

You can apply to the school by completing both a Main application form and Supplementary Application Form. Please return the forms by email to admin@coleridgeprimary.net, attaching a copy of your child’s birth certificate and a proof of address dated within the last three months.

All information supplied on admissions forms will be held securely and processed in accordance with our privacy policies, which can be found here.

The deadline for applying for a place for our Nursery class 2021/22 is Friday 12th February 2021.
