18 Jun Preparing Families for Secondary Transfer Talk
We have managed to arrange for two Haringey support teachers to come and talk to our Year 5 and Year 6 parents. The aim of the talk is to share strategies that support a successful transition to Secondary school. The talk will cover ideas around organisation and lots of tips on how to alleviate anxiety, both for parents and children. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
Peta Griffiths and Louis Lloyd Pack have worked extensively with children who have various needs, some on the Autistic Spectrum; however, please note this talk is relevant to all parents. Feedback from parents who have attended this talk at other settings has been very positive and we hope that you will be able to attend.
