Rainbow Class Open The Magic Box

26 June 2024

In Rainbow class, we have been looking at the poem “The Magic Box” by Kit Wright. We thought about how the poet used all 5 senses to imagine what might go into the magic box. We went on a nature walk down the Parkland Walk, using our five senses to gather initial ideas and then did some imaginative exercises back in class. The children then wrote their own versions of the poem and we were so impressed with what they came up with!
