30 Sep Black History Month
Throughout the school year we remember and celebrate the important people from different cultures and ethnicities, both from the past and also those who contribute to and help our society today. Black History Month is marked annually, where recognising and valuing the inspirational individuals and events that have shaped the black generation takes precedence in the classroom.
If you can offer any assistance or would like to help out in your child’s class during Black History Month, please speak to the class teacher, we welcome all offers! We would particularly like to welcome minority ethnic and non-British born parents to come into school to speak to the class or share information about their heritage.
