25 Jan Extended Nursery Provision From September 2017
We are delighted to announce exciting changes to our Nursery.
Government plans to introduce an offer of 30 hours free childcare from September 2017 for the children of working parents (subject to eligibility criteria) has meant that we have had to look at adapting our Nursery to meet the needs of our families. Following a successful parental survey in November we were better able to understand more fully what our families need and are looking for.
We are pleased to announce that we will continue to offer both 15-hour places (Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm) for those not eligible for the new provision, and 30-hour places for those that are. We will also be offering the option of buying additional sessions on top of any free entitlement including an extended provision until 6pm (subject to availability).
Parents/carers can apply for one of two options:
Option 1
15 hour free entitlement place: Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm | FREE |
Additional school day provision 12-3pm (available Mon-Fri) *includes school lunch |
£25 |
Extended day: 3-6pm (available Mon-Fri) *includes snack |
£20 |
Option 2
30 hour free entitlement place: Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm | FREE |
Extended day: 3-6pm (available Mon-Fri) *includes snack |
£20 |
To check your eligibility and to apply for a place, please click here to see our Admissions page. The deadline for applications for September 2017 is Friday 10th February 2017.
Of course, the addition of extended free entitlement does mean there is pressure on the number of children we can take, but we will do our utmost to accommodate parents/carers’ requests. These are huge changes for us, so please bear with us during any teething problems.
