Thanks to Coleridge children, parents and staff, we are in the final phases of our Nursery Playground development project, funded by the Tesco Bags of Help grant scheme. We have transformed a disused space adjacent to the Nursery into a creative outdoor learning area for the children to learn and develop physical, mental and emotional skills through play. They will enjoy a rubber tyre climbing hill, play house, rope-and-plank bridge, tunnel slide, builder’s area, music wall, mud kitchen, and the space will continually evolve as more elements are developed, with the addition of other recycled materials and ideas generated by the children and staff.
The playground will be formally inaugurated on 12th July, with a Nursery Garden Party.
Thank you everyone for your support, including the parents that gave their time during our working day, and throughout the year.
