Year 2 and the London Symphony Orchestra

Last week, Year 2 visited the Barbican Centre to watch a concert performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra were performing pieces from ‘The Carnival of the Animals’ and told the story of how all the animals were trying to catch the elusive Mosquito! We listened to famous musical compositions such as ‘Aquarium’, ‘Cuckoo’ and ‘Tortoises’; and sang a new song called ‘Looking for Mosquito’ with all the other children who were there.
