27 Feb International Women’s Day
On March 8th, we will be celebrating International Women’s Day at Coleridge.
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. Our children will spend time in class thinking about the extraordinary contributions of women in our society. A whole range of activities and assemblies will take place during the week across the school, designed to inspire and motivate our children to ask questions and challenge inequalities.
Children will be thinking about:
- Great women—past and present
- Challenging gender stereotypes
- Stories with fantastic heroines
- Gender equality issues and human rights
If you would like to get involved, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
