Dressing up

Children can come into school dressed up as their favourite story character, (from books or books made into films). If you don’t have access to an outfit and would like to borrow something from school then please let your child’s class teacher know and we will be very happy to help find something for your child/children to wear.

Bring in a book
Children can bring their favourite book or poem in from home, to share with the rest of the class, or simply to enjoy during the day. They could bring in a photo of themselves reading it to share with their class. Please make sure their name is in the book.

Parents and Carers

We’d love you to come in and share your own favourite books or poems from your childhood. This could be sharing with small groups or the whole class. Please let your class teacher know if you are able to do this.

Maximising Cooperation and Self-Esteem
Mar 27 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Do you sometimes feel that you need to shout, nag, criticise and lecture in order to get your children to do what you ask?

In this evening’s talk, Noel will share with you several positive, respectful and highly effective ways to help your children develop the habit of cooperating — first time and without arguing back! By using these skills, you will also create a better atmosphere all round and enhance your children’s self-esteem!

Noël Janis-Norton is an educator, author, parenting advisor and speaker. She is internationally known for her unique Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting and Teaching methods, which teach families how to become more harmonious and which guide teachers to bring out the best in their pupils.

Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from either school office.

Free School Meals families can pick up tickets for free!
